In January of 2024, Calvary Chapel Magazine Editor Tom Price traveled to Israel. With a small group of CC pastors, including Lead Pastor Phil McKay of CC Reno-Sparks, they met with Israeli citizens and witnessed the devastating scenes of the deadly October 7 Hamas attacks. The pastors encouraged the country’s leaders and residents, letting them know that Christians around the world supported them.
