Pastor Joel Brown Health Update

Continue to pray for Joel Sterling Brown, pastor of Calvary Chapel Mukachevo, Ukraine, as he recovers from a successful, minimally invasive heart stent procedure last week. He had recently experienced a heart attack.

“I am so thankful for the excellent care I have received,” he reported joyfully on Facebook as he took an outdoor walk with his daughter. He shared that he even walked from the recovery room to his hospital room.

“And I am home. … I’m feeling good, if a bit tired and sore from the procedure. But now that the doctors have done their part, I am doing my due diligence as well. Watch me get healthier and healthier. I have more weight to lose. I apparently have diabetes and will need to manage that. But God has been with me so far. Keep praying.”

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Joel’s church and ministry have provided housing for at least 14,000 internally displaced people, aid distribution, and trauma care. Learn more at LivingWaterua.com.
