Equip Us to Tell the Story: Urgent Need for New Camera Gear

Calvary Chapel Magazine is in urgent need of funding to upgrade our camera equipment.

We need to upgrade our aging Nikon Z6 camera systems to the newer, far more reliable Nikon Z9—along with the lenses and backup equipment required for every ministry trip. Our current Z6 bodies frequently fail and require constant repair. When we are deep in the Amazon River region or on assignment in Africa in remote areas, there is no possibility of replacing a broken camera. Lost equipment means lost opportunities to document God’s work around the world.

Recently, Calvary Chapel Magazine photographers have traveled to Thailand, Kenya, Uganda, Hungary, the Republic of Georgia, Peru, Canada, Cuba, and across the United States—plus four urgent trips to Israel following the October 7th attack. Rough travel takes a serious toll on gear, and our equipment must be dependable.

Each photographer needs three camera bodies (including a backup), professional lenses totaling $22,800, and other essential tools such as laptops and memory cards. The Nikon Z9 body alone retails for $5,200.

Our heart is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in every image we capture. To continue producing high-quality photography that honors Him and tells the stories of His people, we urgently need this updated equipment.

Total cost to properly outfit our team with new gear: $64,603.40.
Your partnership, however much, is much appreciated and helps ensure that the Gospel, carried through the Calvary Chapel movement, is documented and shared with excellence around the world.
