Calvary Disaster Relief Update: LA Fires
Photos by CDR
Following is an update From Calvary Disaster Response (CDR) leader Mike Nelson. Based out of Calvary La Habra, CA, it has been responding with Jesus’ love at disasters regionally and internationally since 1995:
We are so blessed by the overwhelming response from churches in America and all who have shown up to help us in Southern California! The work is still far from over; we trust God through this process.
As the response phase transitions to rebuilding, CDR pivots and will discontinue our efforts in this disaster response [to the Los Angeles-area fires] and start preparing for the next one. We would also like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in becoming more involved in this ministry.
We are currently in need of:
First Team volunteers.
Team Leads for Calvary Disaster Relief.
Team Lead for your church.
Website Designer/ Programmer.

Thank You and God Bless,
