DON’T MISS THIS YEAR’S INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE NOVEMBER ’25

Glory to God

How encouraging it was to be with the brethren at the CCA International Pastors & Leaders Conference. Thanks to the CCA board members for their powerful teachings through the Book of Acts. So many pastors, their wives, and leaders took the time out of their busy ministries to be part of this uplifting conference.

Thanks to the Calvary Chapel Golden Springs staff who worked endlessly to make the conference such an amazing experience. The attendees left with renewed vigor to return to their fellowships and a restored sense of purpose—ready to pour into their congregations until Jesus returns for His Church.

Johnny Zacchio (center) of CC Grace and Truth in Yonkers, NY, greets Alex Gutierrez of CC Moreno Valley, CA, at the CCA International Pastors & Leaders Conference held November 8-11, 2021.

More than 1,300 people attended the 2021 conference at CC Golden Springs, CA. The Book of Acts was taught by 11 pastors.

Jerel Hagerman of Joshua Springs CC, CA, enjoys reuniting with friends and graduates of Calvary Bible Institute, which he founded several years ago.

Troy Warner of CC Lynchburg, VA, prays before speaking at the conference. Troy’s message was based on Acts 13.

In one of 10 workshops, youth pastor Kerry Taylor of CC Honolulu, HI, speaks on training up teens in a tech culture. Kerry shared how today’s youth are inundated with a worldly agenda to undo biblical truth.

Tony Clark (left) of CC Newport News, VA, jokes with David Trujillo of CC South Los Angeles. The time together was refreshing and much needed. For some, this was their first break since lockdowns began impacting every church.

Wes Bentley (right), director of Far Reaching Ministries, spends time with Leonard Sanchez of CC Reno-Sparks, NV. Wes described how his ministry has been able to rescue trapped Christians left behind in Afghanistan.

Many assistant pastors pray for one another in a workshop taught by Dale Goddard, longtime assistant to Raul Ries at CC Golden Springs.

Bill Stonebraker (left) of CC Honolulu, HI, greets Gerry Brown of CC Romoland, CA. Gerry is the founder and director of U-Turn for Christ, an addiction ministry for men and women.

For Rebecca and Phil McKay (right) of CC Reno-Sparks, NV, the conference allowed them to catch up with those they had previously ministered with in California, Costa Rica, and Texas.

Joe Focht (left) exhorts a young friend. Joe began the teaching on Acts 1, noting how the Church once again finds itself in times of great change and persecution.

Bobby Hargraves (left) of CC Hudson Valley, NY, jokes with a friend. Bobby taught from Acts 15, exhorting the pastors to stay the course and look at ministry with fresh eyes.

Bobby Hargraves lays his head on Bob Grenier and prays as Bob’s wife Gayle listens. This was Bobby’s first time speaking at the international CCA conference and asked for prayer.

CCA board members: (left to right) Sandy Adams, CC Stone Mountain, GA; Bill Goodrich, Horizon Christian Fellowship, Indianapolis, IN; Bill Stonebraker, CC Honolulu, HI; David Rosales, CC Chino Valley, CA; Lloyd Pulley, CC Old Bridge, NJ; Don McClure, Calvary Way ministries; Joe Focht, CC Philadelphia, PA; Raul Ries, CC Golden Springs, CA; Jeff Johnson, CC Downey, CA.

Bible commentator and friend David Guzik (right) encourages Troy Warner before Troy speaks.

Conferencegoers are thankful that both pastors and their wives, along with ministry leaders, were invited to be a part of this important event.

People convey their appreciation to Raul Ries for offering Calvary Chapel Golden Springs (CCGS) to host the event and for all the work the staff does to make it such a powerful time with the Lord for each attendee. This was the third CCA international conference held at CCGS.

Steve Vickery of CC Oxford, England, prays with his wife, Amber, on the first day.

Several women enjoy the freedom of worshiping Jesus. The conference was filled with times to express one’s love for our Savior, praise and seek Him in prayer, while enjoying sweet moments of fellowship.

A group of women come together to pray as men do the same behind them.

John Milhouse says goodbye to a dear friend. After nearly 40 years leading CC Moreno Valley, CA, he is turning the church over to his son, Joel, at the end of May 2022.
