Calvary Chapel Hurricane Relief
Calvary Chapels Have Deployed Relief Teams to the Gulf Coast and They Need Our Support
Update by Sean Labar
Hundreds of thousands of people are without power in Louisiana in the wake of Hurricane Laura making landfall. Calvary Disaster Relief, a Calvary Chapel affiliate, is teaming up with Mercy Chefs – a Christian disaster relief organization focused on serving professionally prepared meals for victims, volunteers, and first responders of national emergencies – to aid those in need in Lake Charles, LA. While damage to the area is extensive, one of the biggest needs for the region is clean, drinkable water following major damage to the water treatment plant. Ministry leaders have asked for access to potable water trucks, along with monetary donations and prayer to assist with the recovery effort.

Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm, so that its waves are still. Psalm 107:28-29
