Calvary Chapel Disaster Relief in Louisiana

Calvary Chapel Disaster Relief

By Sean Labar

Calvary Disaster Relief (CDR) has deployed a team—headed up by Pastors John Snoderly and Lance Cook —to DeQuincy, LA., to assist with hurricane relief. The organization shipped a semi-truck load of essential supplies that arrived on Sunday to serve Lake Charles and the surrounding communities. CDR is able to use a local Baptist church as its headquarters throughout the relief efforts. For the next several weeks, CDR will be receiving teams and the organization is asking all Calvary Chapels to get the word out to their congregation and communities.

Below is an excerpt from the Calvary Disaster Relief website:

“We look forward to future teams coming and for the Lord’s continued blessing on all the work needed. Please be praying about sending a team and any financial support that you are able to give.”
