Please Pray for Israel: Iran carries out a massive missile attack on the Holy Land
Please pray for Israel. On October 1st of 2024, nearly a year after the first attack from Gaza, Israel has been struck again. According to recent news articles Iran has launched a series of missiles to Israel and its occupants: lighting up the night sky. It is believed by Israel’s military that approximately 180 missiles have been fired from Iran.
The air defense system in Israel, known as the Iron Dome, has thankfully guarded the safety of many Israelis. For the time being, it remains unknown how many injuries occurred. It has been recorded that some of the missiles that were not shot down hit the central and southern regions of Israel. Debris scattered, resulting in the only recorded casualty of a Palestinian man outside of Jericho.
Moments before the attack a mass shooting occurred in Tel Aviv taking the lives of at least 6 Israeli’s and injuring more. A week prior, a Hezbollah leader was killed leaving many to believe that the strike from Iran was in retaliation.
The United States has pledged its allegiance with Israel. Please continue to keep Israel in your prayers for peace, wisdom and protection.
When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt. So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people. And he shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; 4 for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. Deuteronomy 20:1-4
