Gangs continue to take over Haiti. They do this by blocking the supplies coming into port—including food and fuel. They also do this by terrorizing and overrunning villages that have no defense. They're armed with AK-47s and roam the streets stealing, killing, and destroying, according to Cross to Light Director Brian McDaniel.

Cross to Light runs the Haiti Bible Training Center, bringing in young leaders from different provinces of Haiti to build them up in the Word of God, taking them through the Bible over the course of two years. They are sent back out to plant churches and provide community relief and aid—all free—through the entire country.

Please pray for the pastors there that are leaning on God for protection, endurance, strength, and wisdom. Often, they are the only source in each of their areas for God's Word, prayer, food, and water. “It is urgent … to understand that the worsening security situation on the ground has reached its peak, and armed gangs now roam the country unfettered,” said Victor Généus, Haiti’s foreign affairs minister.

The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence. Psalm 11:5
